Request Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your ShareDance account and all associated data, you can
request this by following the steps below. This process is provided by the ShareDance development team to
comply with user privacy rights.
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be
permanently removed from our systems.
Steps to Request Account Deletion:
- Send an email to our support team using the contact information below
- Include the following information in your email:
- Subject: "ShareDance Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address in ShareDance
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- Verify your identity - We may ask you to confirm your request from your registered
email
- Wait for confirmation - You will receive a confirmation email within 5 business
days
- Account deletion - Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for legal or business purposes:
- Legal compliance: Basic transaction records may be kept for up to 5 years as required
by local tax laws
- Security logs: Anonymized security logs may be retained for up to 1 year for system
security purposes
- Aggregated analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (not linked to your identity) may be
retained indefinitely
After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You will not be able to log into ShareDance
- All your class reservations will be cancelled
- Any remaining credits will be forfeited
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use ShareDance again
- Your email address will be available for new account registration after 30 days
Response Time
We are committed to processing your request promptly:
- Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours
- Identity verification: Within 3 business days
- Account deletion: Within 30 days of verified request
- Confirmation: You will receive final confirmation once deletion is complete
Alternative Options
Before requesting account deletion, consider these alternatives:
- Account deactivation: Temporarily disable your account (data preserved)
- Data correction: Update or correct your personal information
- Privacy settings: Adjust your privacy preferences within the app
